AUSTRALIAN CONSERVATION FOUNDATION

Protecting Platypus

Habitat destruction and climate change are taking a toll on one of our most iconic animals. To better understand the plight of the platypus, ACF is working with researchers who’ve been monitoring them for decades. They say the more they learn, the more they believe platypuses should be listed as ‘threatened’.

The Australian Conservation Foundation is working to increase public awareness and protection of platypus. The wonderful folks at Australian Conservation Foundation approached me to compile a suite of imagery of platypus in the wild, and shoot environmental portrais of a couple of people whose lives are intrinsically linked to these incredible animals.
